The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His
bond-servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and
communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John, who testified to
the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that
he saw. Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the
prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is
near. (Revelation 1:1-3 NASB)

The Book of Revelation
From 2009 Wednesday Evening Bible Studies
In
January of 2009, Kevin Ziegler, South Side Evangelist, began teaching
the book of Revelation. There are many different theories as to how to
interpret the book. In the course of the study, Kevin will try to answer
the question, "what did the book mean to the first century readers"? I
pray that the resources on this page will help you better study the
book.
The study
will take a verse by verse look at the book using the New American
Standard Bible, Updated Edition.
Kevin was
taught the book of Revelation by Professor Glenn Bourne at Florida
Christian College in Kissimmee, Florida. Professor Bourne used his own
book, The Tower of Truth, as a textbook. This book, and Professor
Bourne's personal class notes will be primary resources for this study.
Many other resources, not original to Kevin Ziegler, will also be used
through the course of the study. |
